Shalom School's Preschool and Pre-k programs are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). NAEYC is the nation's leading organization of early childhood professionals. To earn NAEYC Accreditation, Shalom School went through an extensive self-study process, measuring the program against 10 NAEYC standards and the related Accreditation Criteria. After an on-site visit by the NAEYC assessor, Shalom School far exceeded the criteria needed to achieve accreditation through May 2028.
The NAEYC system was created in 1985 to set voluntary professional standards and to help families identify high-quality early education programs. NAEYC standards reflect the latest research and best practices in early childhood education and development. Shalom School is among a mere 8% of programs nationwide to achieve this distinction.
